Admissions

Admission Process:

Prospective students are required to bring the following to their admissions appointment: 

1. Schedule an person interview: 732-695-1190 

2. Complete & bring documents to interview: 

  • MCI Application Forms

  • Official High School Transcript

  • Official College Transcript  (If Applicable) 

  • Resume

  • Copy of Government Issued Picture ID

  • Copy of Social Security Card 

  • Two Letters of Recommendation (DMS & CVS Programs Only) ​​​​

Please print these single-sided only:

Diagnostic Medical Sonography & Cardiovascular Technology Programs. 

In addition to the above requirements, applicants must have completed a minimum of 40 college credits within the last five (5) years from an accredited college or university. An official transcript is required upon acceptance to the program.

As part of, or in addition to, the 40 credits, the following specific courses are required:

  • English or Communication – 2 courses

  • College-level Math – 2 courses

  • Medical Terminology – 1 course

  • Anatomy & Physiology I – In-person with lab

  • Anatomy & Physiology II – In-person with lab

  • General Physics – 1 course

 

⚠️ Important Note: Online courses not completed through a U.S. Department of Education-recognized accredited college or university may not be accepted toward meeting admissions requirements. This includes courses completed through independent online learning platforms.. All non-traditional or online coursework is subject to review.

Surgical Technology Additional Admission Requirements

  • Candidates must have a minimum of an associate degree.

  • Foreign graduates must present certified English translation of required documents and an evaluation confirming that the degree meets at least U.S. equivalency 

Orientation: 

  • All accepted students will be scheduled for an Orientation which will take place a few days before the program start date. 

  • Students will receive an email with the date and time of Orientation two weeks before the program begins. 

  • The email  will contain links to reading materials, Homework Assignment, Uniform Sizing, School Parking and more.
