Clinical Education Requirements
MCI programs require participation in clinical externship, at affiliated healthcare facilities, physician offices, or clinical training sites. Students should be aware of the following requirements:

Clear Criminal background checks and Negative Drug screening results

Physical examinations, Immunization records and health clearances

Proof of health insurance

CPR certification
-
Fit testing, respirator clearance, or other site-specific onboarding requirements

Completion of facility orientation, training modules, and compliance documentation
Clinical facilities maintain the right to accept or deny student placement based on their own policies, screening criteria, and operational needs. MCI cannot override decisions made by affiliated clinical sites. Failure to meet clinical site requirements may delay program progression, delay graduation, require a leave of absence or prevent successful completion of the program.
Credentialing Examination Eligibility
Students are encouraged to independently review credentialing agency eligibility requirements prior to enrollment. Students should understand:

Credentialing agencies establish and control their own eligibility requirements.

MCI cannot guarantee eligibility if a credentialing agency determines a student does not meet its standards.

Criminal history, disciplinary history, falsification of records or other agency-specific requirements may impact eligibility.
Employment Considerations
Employment requirements are determined by employers and may vary by employer, healthcare facility, specialty, and state. Factors that may impact employment opportunities include:

Medical Career Institute cannot guarantee employment upon completion of any program. While some students may secure employment opportunities through clinical externship experiences, employment is never guaranteed.
